SBD Powerlifting Singlet: Competition Fit You Don’t Have to Think About
The SBD Powerlifting Singlet is designed to fit correctly, feel comfortable, and hold up through years of training and competition, so the only thing you’re focused on on meet day is your lifts.
Developed in collaboration with world-class athletes, this singlet uses a heavyweight yet breathable fabric to provide consistent compression without feeling restrictive. Lifters repeatedly choose SBD singlets for their reliable fit, comfort, and professional appearance on the platform.
“Perfect fit - sizing is accurate.”
Built for the Platform
Constructed from a durable 350gsm double jersey fabric, the SBD singlet is thick enough to feel secure and competition-ready while remaining soft and breathable for long days at a meet. The fabric resists stretching out over time and maintains its shape even with repeated use.
Designed to perform under the demands of maximal squats, bench presses, and deadlifts, it meets all IPF and IWF competition requirements.
Men’s and Women’s Fits: Choose What Works for You
SBD offers both a men’s fit and a women’s fit to accommodate different builds and preferences:
Men’s fit: Classic cut with a longer torso and elasticated leg openings.
Women’s fit: Shorter torso, tapered waist, and larger leg openings with a wider, non-elasticated hem.
Some women may prefer the men’s fit depending on build, and some men may prefer the women’s fit if they find the elasticated leg openings of the men’s singlet too restrictive. Both fits are fully competition legal, the choice comes down to comfort and personal preference.
