Zero drop shoes are very popular with lifters since they provide a level surface to lift against. All of our zero drop shoes also feature a very thin, very firm sole which is ideal for deadlifting.

These shoes are all designed for training and lifting however they can also be worn outside of the gym, just be warned that most feature a soft sole to increase grip but that will wear down more easily if they are worn on rough ground.

    FAQs

You want a snug fit in the midfoot and heel so your foot doesn’t slide as you drive out of the squat, but you still need toe room to spread your toes and brace. With our zero drop shoes, Inner Strength Products suggests lacing or strapping them so your toes can wiggle and aren’t touching the front of the shoe, since that can become painful when lifting; if your toes go numb, size up.

Grip comes from the rubber and tread, not the heel height, so a good flat sole can grip the platform well for deadlifts and squats. Most of our zero drop shoes here use grippy outsoles, but chalk dust and sweat can still get slick, so wipe the sole, brush the platform, and skip soft insoles that let your foot roll.
