It’s marketed as a deadlift shoe, but it’s equally as good for everything else. Stable, low to ground, grippy, surprisingly very comfortable as it wraps around your feet but allows your toes to spread and grip the floor.
I was using the sabo’s goodlift for my 3 lifts. While goodlifts are really good shoes , they have a thick sole that is not completely flat, a toebox that does not have a barefoot feel and in my opinion the sole is not grippy enough. I was hesitant to buy the sabos deadlift pro’s because I’ve tried the sabos deadlift, and they were way to norrow, they do not allow you to use your full foot fonction. But after reading some online reviews I Decided to give this shoes a try, which was the best decision ever. The sabos pro are totally different (in a good way) than the sabos last version. They have a wide toebox that allows you to use full foot fonction and they have a barefoot shoe feel. The middle foot strap is more sturdy and has a much better feel than the last version. The sole is very thin and completely flat (0mm drop) so it allows you to “feel the ground”. The outer sole has a lot more grip than the goodlifts and the last version of sabos deadlift. Another good thing is that you don’t need a “break in” time like the sabos goodlift, which need at least 2weeks to break in. The only negative thing I have to say, is that the materials of the shoes seem less durable than the sabos goodlift, but I can’t confirm this, since I’ve only used the shoes for about a week. Overall this shoes are perfect, in my opinion they are the best all around powerlifting shoes right now.
Fit perfectly, gives great support
Shoes give great support across the foot and provide a solid grip when deadlifting.
good foot stability
