    A 7mm knee sleeve gives you the most support you can get from a sleeve, so your knees feel warmer and more supported on heavy squats, leg press, and strongman events. The thicker neoprene also adds a bit of rebound out of the bottom and can make your knee position feel more consistent from rep to rep. Many lifters use 7mm when they want the most help on heavier training days.

    Turn the sleeve halfway inside out so the top and bottom cuff are lined up. Slide it over your foot and pull it up as high as you can. Once it gets stuck, grab the bottom while making sure you are holding both the top and bottom cuff, then pull upward with force until the top of the folded sleeve lines up with the center of your knee. Then unfold the top of the sleeve and make any final adjustments so it is even before you lift.
