Replace your mouthpiece as soon as you see tears, deep bite marks, cracks, or it starts feeling loose even after you re-mold it. For most lifters, that ends up being about every 6 to 12 months, depending on how often you train and how hard you bite. AIRWAAV suggests replacing their performance mouthpieces around 6 to 9 months if you use it regularly and clench a lot.

A mouthpiece protects your teeth and gums when you clench, which can help prevent chips, cracks, and sore jaw joints on heavy days. It also gives you a consistent bite so you can brace hard without grinding enamel, and many lifters find it reduces jaw soreness after training. If you use our AIRWAAV RX1 for sleep, it can gently bring your tongue forward, which may help airflow and recovery overnight.
